This is one of the easiest ground beef recipes! It’s almost summer and everyone looks forward to hamburgers. My husband can grill things but I cannot. But we still want hamburgers! Should I break down and buy some fast food?

Maybe sometimes, if I’m being honest.
But not today!
Because there’s no point if you’ve got some ground beef somewhere in the house.
This week’s post is the easiest dinner recipe I’ve shared so far.

Ground Beef Recipes
I use ground beef several times a week for all kinds of meals. I don’t want to be cooking things constantly though. So I grab a honkin’ five pound log of the cheapest ground beef I can get and cook it all at once. Sometimes I grab the ten pounder that makes me look like a weirdo in the check-out line.
But I know we’ll eat it because ground beef is great in everything and it’s almost impossible to over-cook or ruin.
Breakfast: Throw it into your eggs with some cheese, a little hot sauce and salsa. Then wrap it in a warm tortilla for a hearty meal.
Lunch: Make a warm salad with ground beef, canned kidney beans, cottage cheese, and chopped, fresh spinach. Throw the whole thing in the microwave for a minute then pat yourself on the back for eating healthy today!
Dinner: Toss it into your prepared top ramen with some corn and a little ranch to make you feel like you HAVE changed since college.

Prepare the Beef for the Ground Beef Recipes
Let’s start this ground beef off right.
Bring home the beef and cook it up. If you turn the heat up to high at first, you can sear some of the meat to get a little of that browned- crust flavor. You can turn it back down to medium-high heat once the fat starts to render and pool.
Make sure to scrape the bottom every once and a while.
Drain out most of the fat, but leave some in there. This is what keeps it juicy and holds together a little more.
Hamburger Seasoning
Season the beef well with Fiesta Deluxe Hamburger Seasoning. If you’ve looked at some of my other posts, you’ve heard me mention it. They’re not a sponsor. I just really like this seasoning blend.

It’s one of those spice blends that doesn’t really stand out as it’s own distinct flavor. It just makes everything taste better. I use it in place of salt and pepper on pretty much everything. Chicken. fish, beef, pork, tacos, noodles, beans, soup. It’s good.
Or you can season the beef with salt and pepper. Just make sure you season it when you cook it, so it’s ready to go when you need it.
Separate the beef into freezer bags and at least label them with the date. Then flatten the bags and stack them in the freezer.
It’s easier to break chunks off as you need them if you flatten them.

My favorite of the Ground Beef Recipes
My favorite way to eat ground beef is also the easiest and fastest way.
The day that you cook the beef up, plan to have hamburgers for dinner.
As the beef is finishing cooking, slice up some tomatoes. Get out the mayo, ketchup, pickles (or relish), and mustard. Some of my family like sauerkraut or chopped onions. Get out the cheese and lettuce. We used shredded cheese because that’s what we had in the fridge.

Grab your hamburger buns and head to the table with your pan of delicious ground beef.
Now all that’s left to do is assemble the burger, give yourself a hearty scoop of ground beef and enjoy!
No more smoke-filled kitchens when it’s burger night!
No more shriveled and dry patties that don’t fill the bun!
No more being stuck at the stove while you cook a couple burgers at a time!
All the meat’s done at the same time so everyone can eat together! Just savory, juicy, easy, delicious and satisfying hamburgers!

It’s so simple and beautiful, it makes me want to cry.
If you don’t have hamburger buns, use sandwich bread and call it a Loose Meat Sandwich. It’s a thing, really.
And whatever’s left over goes into bags to be used in other meals through-out the week.

I never thought of just using cooked ground meat. There is no fussing with making patties. This is also a great way to use up extra ground meat from other dishes (like taco bowls – which my fam makes often).
Totally. It seems a little silly to write an entire post about it but it has honestly saved me so much time and my kids love it more than regular hamburgers 🙂
What a great idea! Definitely going to try this out… Thank you!
Thanks! It’s a great short-cut!
